Creativity is the production of something new through original insights or expressions. It can also be thought of as reinvention. Since in the history of mankind most creative endeavors have been touched on at least to some small degree, reinvention is the most common mode of creativity outside of that which is related to the surreal and the taboo. Even if something is not really too original it can be seen as such if it is created with the intention and spirit of unique creation (ie. the creator thinks it is original but it turns out to not be). The realm of images is ripe for creativity. This is because there are so many various kinds of images that they can be combined and altered slightly and appear to be wholly original even if that is not exactly the case.
