Images are an integral part of life. We see things as images through vision of the eye or otherwise imagine them through imagination of the mind. Our memories are images imprinted through the senses and may be considered more than an image, but I say they are images at their core because they are things perceived. Therefore my definition of an image is of something perceived. Whether it be through vision, sound, touch, smell, taste, or any other sense from which it is experienced. So, when I go through the world I am constantly bombarded with images gained through my senses, which is then perceived by the mind, until all perception is lost (usually only in death - and then only perception of what I now understand as real).
